How Alcoholics Anonymous Informs the General Public

Members of the general public often encounter people who may have a drinking problem, and as a result may have questions about recovery solutions.

The Public Information (P.I.) Committee in Alcoholics Anonymous has the task of carrying the message of recovery to the still-suffering alcoholic, by informing the general public about the A.A. program.
The Committee carries the message by getting in touch with and responding to the media, schools, industry, and other organizations who can report on the nature and purpose of A.A. and what it can do for alcoholics.

Public Information Committee can put you in touch with other A.A. Committees, who can provide help and answers. These are:

Cooperation with the Professional Community

Hospitals and Institutions

Please contact the PI Chairperson if you would like more information about how Alcoholics Anonymous can help you.
